Wendy - The Gap

We were looking at doing a bathroom renovation but not sure where to start with the whole project. In fact I had it put it all in the too hard basket. While visiting a neighbour, she showed me her bathroom which Silvio had renovated about 5 years prior. It looked absolutely brand new and had not dated.

I gave Silvio a call and my too hard basket reduced in size. I hadn’t even considered changing the layout of the bathroom but Silvio came up with a much improved design and floor plan that really made much better use of the space.

I appreciated the time that he spent with us in advising us on choice of fittings, tiles etc for the bathroom. It was great to have his background knowledge and experience about what would and wouldn’t work in the space.

Silvio was always punctual and kept us up to date with the project. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work and will not just accept a make do solution. He always left the worksite in a clean condition and the final presentation was like something from a showroom.

Silvio was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very approachable and can explain why or why not something will happen. We also asked him to redesign and refit our laundry. Once again his ideas transformed the whole area into a much more usable and efficient area.

I have recommended Silvio to a number of people and would have no hesitation in using him again for any other renovations.

Kris - Highgate Hill

I wanted to thank you both for creating our new stylish and modern bathroom. I am so impressed with the creative space and the fantastic colour palette, it suits the house perfectly. The bathroom has made such a dramatic impact, it has become a focal point for our home.

Silvio’s ability to transform what was a small bath area and walkway into completely modern, spacious bathroom has been incredible. He has even included a screen-less / hobless walk in shower; with clever use of modern louvers to provide ventilation and light, while maintaining privacy. The result is amazing.

The moment I contacted Silvio about the project, I knew from his manner that he was the man for the job. Both he and Skubi were friendly, extremely professional and were quickly able to provide a number of solutions and design ideas. Once decided the build process was equally fast and efficient and Silvio’s workmanship as a tiler and builder is precise and clever; more artist than tiler.

I am looking forward to the next project to see what see what creative ideas they can come up with.

Our ensuite looks out over lush green rainforest towards Brisbane city and the ranges. We really have a ‘loo with a view’! While the outlook is great, the ensuite itself was looking very tired and in need of a serious makeover. We had ideas, Silvio listened to our thoughts, helped us clarify the design, and then using his creative expertise, gave us an ensuite that can be best described by the word we all love to hear….’WOW’.

We found working with Silvio and his team of skilled craftsmen very easy. They were punctual, professional, and conscious of giving us the best value for money. And the quality of Silvio’s workmanship was outstanding. Even now (12 months after completion), I never cease to marvel at how carefully and cleverly the job was done.
